Cindy Chavez joined Dunton Commercial in February 2018, overseeing a portfolio of office and retail assets.

Prior to joining Dunton Commercial Ms. Chavez has worked with CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, and Jones Lang LaSalle.  She has over 20 years’ experience in Commercial Real Estate, from high rise class “A” Office Buildings to Receiverships, Industrial, Retail, Medical and Mixed-use office buildings.

She is well versed in Tenant and Vendor relationships and understands the importance of maintaining positive lines of communication to ensure the asset runs smoothly and remains on budget and within Ownerships objectives.  Keeping costs low by putting services out to bid to several vendors for multiple properties, utilizing the savings for multiple owners across the portfolio.

She has many years of experience with budgeting, CAM reconciliations, reforecasting, CAM estimates, reviewing invoices and ensuring correct coding according to the budget, property inspections, RFP’s, Tenant Improvements, Capital Improvements and completing property inspections.

Ms. Chavez has obtained her Associate Brokers License and has her LEED GA and LEED AP accreditations.  She has also completed several courses towards her Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation, which she hopes to complete in the very near future.

While managing 1125 17th Street, a 24-story high rise in Denver Cindy and her team won The Office Building of The Year (TOBY) award through BOMA for Denver.  They went on to compete in the SW Regionals in Austin, TX and won there too.  They even went to the International competition which was an honor in itself to be there.
